His favourite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers, and you better smile when you say that.
Mick Kern
On-Air Personality
.Mick Kern is host of The War Room, heard weekdays at 11 am eastern. Mick has been in love with the game of hockey ever since Ken Dryden stoned the Bruins back in 1971. From that point on, hockey became the focal point of his life, to the extent that his father threatened to throw out his O-Pee-Chee hockey card collection in an effort to get Mick to concentrate on math studies, instead of goals-against-averages. Suffice to say, a career in advanced mathematics was not in the cards, After quickly realizing he wasn't the second coming of Ken Dryden, Mick got involved in radio, initially on the music side of things. After a decade of touring across Canada in the back of smelly vans, Mick returned to his first love..hockey. After a decade of bouncing around all-sports radio stations in Toronto, one rainy night Mick ended up at the door of NHL Home Ice. Joe Thistel let him in, and eventually caved in and put Mick on the air.
Terry Mercury

Terry Mercury is host of Ice Cap and Around the Rinks in 90 Seconds on NHL Home Ice. He has spent the last 20 years in broadcasting but recollects his first job was as an asphalt layer/paver. His favourite NHL team is the Montreal Canadians.

Maurice "Rocket" Richard is Mike's top hockey hero and he has a fondness for playing golf, drinking wine, smoking cigars and of course, BBQing. Mike counts the Ottawa Senators as his hockey team and for baseball, it’s the Yankees all the way. He’ll never forget 1999 when he sipped from the Memorial Cup as the arena announcer for the Ottawa 67s.

The top sports moment in Bruce's mind is by far "Touch 'em all Joe," the Joe Carter walk-off home-run to win the 1993 World Series for the Toronto Blue Jays. However, the hockey memory he will never forget is Team Canada winning the Gold Medal at the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City.
